LITTLETON made it three wins in a row with a convincing 5-1 victory over Smethwick Rangers in the West Midlands League Premier Division at Five Acres.

The hosts took an early lead when on three minutes Will Skelton headed a Xavier cross back across goal for Adam Garmson to head in.

Then on 20 minutes the lead was doubled after Dean Fisher was felled in the box and a penalty was awarded which Ben Billingham coolly converted.

Littleton were pulling no punches and just before half-time Skelton headed in a third from a corner.

Then Garmson lobbed the away keeper to get his second and Littleton's fourth.

The second half began in similar fashion to the first as Skelton notched his second to put the game out of reach of the visitors.

Smethwick grabbed a consolation goal through substitute Lewis Haughton.

However, the day belonged to Littleton who remain fourth in the table but full of confidence going into a tricky away trip to Dudley Town on Saturday (3pm).

Littleton then head to fellow high-fliers Bewdley Town in the Premier Division League Cup next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Last week, the Vale side saw off higher-ranked Lye Town 1-0 at home in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup first round with a goal from Garmson.
