SKIPPER Chris Ridings led fifth-placed Pershore to a 127-run home win over title-chasing Chaddesley Corbett in the Worcestershire Cricket League Premier Division.

Ridings scored 70 in Pershore's 234-6 with Stephen Miles adding 46 not out.

Chaddesley were skittled for 107 with Waqur Ahmad (61) scoring most of the runs and Anees Tariq taking 3-6 and William Palmer 3-13.

Astwood Bank won a tight match by four wickets at Old Elizabethans.

Opener Rob West hit 99 and Connor Adams 70no in a fifth-wicket stand of 119 after losing four early wickets.

Bank chased down the spirited home side's 224-8 and went up to second.
