COTSWOLD Hills Cricket League Division One champions Elmley Castle showed no signs of letting up when powering to a nine-wicket home win over lowly Norton Lindsey and Wolverton.

The 10-man visitors were bowled out for 57 with Steve Webb taking 4-10, Neil Cooper 2-7 and Tom Attwood 2-15 in 10-over spells.

Castle, who are 53 points ahead of second-placed Leek Wootton with two games left, took just 11.4 overs to score a winning 61-1 with Webb hitting 34 not out.

Ashton-under-Hill dropped into the relegation zone after being deducted 22 points for fielding ineligible players and failing to confirm the result despite beating Leek Wootton, according to the league.

Leek were bowled out for 88 in reply to 116-9 with Jack Perks claiming 4-8 from seven overs.

Bretforton are 43 points above the Premier Division drop zone after thrashing bottom-of-the-table visitors Alcester and Ragley by 10 wickets.

Luke Richardson took 5-30 and Steve Edghill 4-14 in the visitors' 184 all out.

Bret flew to victory in 28.2 overs on 187-0 thanks to all-rounders Richardson (55no) and Edghill (108no).

Badsey lost at home to Division Two leaders Moreton-in-Marsh by eight wickets.

Marcus Humpston (73) top scored in Badsey's 119-8 from 34.1 overs with David Peel taking 3-27.

Moreton won with 121-2 in 19 overs through Ashley Hurrell (40no), Greg Stotesbury (36) and David Williams (20).

Broadway amassed 324-6 in beating fellow high-fliers Mickleton by 147 runs in Division Three.

Sam Hopkins (110), Jamie Powell (81) and Carlo Carenza (63) helped Broadway to the big total from 45 overs.

Hosts Mickleton were restricted to 177-6 despite James Adams scoring 62no as Jason Horsburgh claimed 4-37.

Basement boys The Lenches lost at home to mid-table Stanway by 41 runs after being bowled out for 91 in reply to 132-9.

Pete Green took 5-26 for Stanway.

Division Four leaders Bidford-on-Avon saw off Fladbury by 26 runs.

Simon Rouse (43) top scored in Bidford's 100 all out with Ryan Dixon returning 6-24.

But Will Bowles (4-17) and Ben Cooper (3-11) ensured Fladbury were skittled for 74.
