A NEW mixed netball league is being set up in Evesham with a vow to get men and women off the couch and onto the court.
After July's Netball World Cup in Liverpool more people are getting back into the sport which is also seeing a rise in interest from men.
Leagues4you run sporting fun leagues across the UK involving more than 3,100 players and welcome netballers of all experience and fitness levels.
League coordinator Beth Pickering said: “We're passionate about the benefits playing sport can bring to people's lives."
The new Evesham league will start on September 3 with a refresher session the week before.
Matches will be at The De Montfort School, Four Pools Road, on Tuesdays from 8pm until 10pm.
Players can join as a team, a small group or individually.
League rules state only three men may play on court at any one time.
