FIFTH-placed hosts Pershore had a few scares before seeing off Worcestershire Cricket League Premier Division basement side Feckenham by three wickets.

After William Palmer took 3-14 in 10 overs in Feckenham’s 164-9, Pershore lost wickets regularly.

They eventually won with 165-7 from 44.4 overs with Andrew Hill (18 not out) leading them home after Stephen Miles scored 41 and Liam Ridings 35.

Stourport earned a five-wicket win at Old Hill thanks to Andrew Siwicki (60no) and Ryan Derrick (60).

Colwall’s three-wicket win at Burghill, Tillington and Weobley put them 28 points ahead in Division One.

Bromyard went into third after a nine-wicket victory over Bredon who were skittled for 75 with David Taylor taking 4-13 and Zahid Saeed 3-4.

Second-from-bottom Droitwich Spa and Worcester Nomads just above them lost to Belbroughton and Pedmore respectively.

Spa collapsed to 69 all out in a 94-run beating while Nomads fell for 71 in an eight-wicket loss.

Ombersley seconds lead by 32 points at the top of Division Two after winning by two wickets at Astwood Bank seconds.

Marcus D’Oliveira (64) led from the front before Jake Howl (36no) and Henry Wilde (21no) guided them to a rain-reduced target with 234-8.

Old Vigornians moved back into third in Division Three after beating old rivals Avoncroft by four wickets.

Back at New Road after flooding, captain Alex Parker (5-26) took his third five-wicket haul of the season after putting Croft into bat.

Josh Cound (36) and Jonty Heslop (23) shared a 66-run opening stand but spinner Parker broke the partnership and then OVs dominated.

Worcester seconds maintained second spot in Division Four after cruising to a comfortable victory at Five Ways Old Edwardians.

After early rain the hosts were removed for 140 in 35.3 overs with Harry Clark claimed 4-22 and Josh Faulkner 3-32.

Worcester won by five wickets with 144-5 in 30.2 overs as Faisal Khalid scored 38 and Clark 31.

Fergus Neve hit 119 not out for third-placed West Malvern in their Division Five seven-wicket victory over Droitwich Spa seconds.

Spa’s own score of 242-7 had been boosted by Stuart Bryan (87) and Rhys John (60) before West’s rain-reduced reply of 233-3 with Peter Gurr adding 45no.

Fifth-placed Malvern won by six wickets at Worcester Nomads seconds thanks to Lewis Hill (57no).
