FIVE Pershore swimmers are heading to the British and Home Nations Championships this summer.
For the higher-ranked British Summer Championships in Glasgow, Gabriella Barry will compete in the 50-metre butterfly with an entry time of 29.20 seconds.
Hannah Woodcock tackles the 50m freestyle (27.23) and the 100m freestyle (59.03) while Patrick Heeks will do the 100m butterfly (57.63) and 50m butterfly (26.46).
Two others will also head to the English Championships in Sheffield.
Christopher Vizard, 17, of Pershore High School, is competing in the 200m butterfly (two minutes 16.15 seconds).
Heeks, 15, also of Pershore High School, swims the 50m freestyle (25.24), 100m freestyle (55.10), 50m backstroke (28.62), 200m backstroke (2.17.58) and the 200m butterfly (2.14.07).
Woodcock, 15, of King's School Worcester, competes in the 50m backstroke (31.77) and 50m breaststroke (35.25).
Sisters Alexandra, 15, and Gabriella Barry, 14, of King's School, do the 200m backstroke (2.28.29) and 100m butterfly (1.07.08) respectively.
The British competition is from July 23 until 28 and the English event from July 31 until August 4.
