EVESHAM face a crunch battle with fellow relegation fighters Old Coventrians on Saturday (3pm) on the back of a 41-12 loss at Nuneaton Old Edwardians.

Just one point separates the bottom four in Midlands Two West (South) with Evesham ahead of their weekend opponents by one converted try with three matches to play.

It follows on from a thankless task in Nuneaton where second-half tries from Tom Williams and Andy Robinson halved a 24-point deficit.

The hosts ran riot from there, though, adding three more unanswered tries to leave Evesham in the thick of a battle for survival with Old Coventrians, Southam and Rugby St Andrews.
