EIGHTY cyclists entered the Kanes Foods Evesham Vale Road Race.
With national teams from Scotland and Wales also taking part, there were windy conditions and a fast pace on the undulating 72-mile course from Inkberrow.
Three elite riders crossed the finish line first with Marcin Bialoblocki (Nopinz Symec Race Team) more than five seconds ahead of Charles Walker (Spirit Tifosi Racing Team).
He was 47 seconds ahead of Lee Frost (Nopinz Symec Race Team).
The three were well clear at the finish after the wind and pace had fragmented the peloton multiple times.
Local rider Ben Stockdale (Cotswold Cycles-TREK) put in a creditable performance coming 25th.
