THE under-16s girls' team from Prince Henry's High School will compete in National Team School Championship regional finals after qualifying from their zone.

Each of the Worcestershire county champions took part with Blackminster Middle School, St Egwin's Middle School and Littleton First School also participating.

Prince Henry's girls finished second to go through, beating High School for Girls, Gloucestershire 8-0 and North Leamington School 7-1

before losing 5-3 to hosts Wood Green Academy.

Blackminster's under-11 boys drew one and lost two matches, while the under-13s drew one and lost three.

Littleton's under-11s, pictured, lost two matches with St Egwin's drawing one and losing three. Prince Henry's under-16 boys drew one and lost one.

Alfie Saunders (Blackminster) was star player for Worcestershire, winning five out of eight matches. Bella Reid (St.Egwin's) won four out of eight.
