EVESHAM seniors held their annual presentation day followed by lunch.
The golfer of the year award went to Bill Dobie.
Thirty-six Evesham ladies donned their festive outfits on a sunny, mild day for the Christmas competition's three-ball alliance over nine holes.
The winning team with 42 points were Pam Hutcheon, Melanie Evans and Elaine Baird.
Runners-up with 39 were Marlene Billings, Gill Smith and Penny Osborne.
Evans finished nearest the ninth pin.
Meanwhile long-standing member Jill Cleary will be leaving for pastures new and she was presented with a leaving present by lady captain Angela Budden.
The Vale seniors held their new captain's drive-in to welcome Peter Morris to office.
The winner of the correct distance drawn was John Jarvis with 167 yards to beat 240 other members for a bottle of whisky.
A Texas scramble with teams of four or five was won by Peter Morris, Andy Jinks, Paul Chadwick, Mary Carrington and Caroline Griffiths with 63.4 points.
Christmas lunch was enjoyed by all prior to prize-giving for 2018 competitions with a presentation of £4,460 to St Richard's Hospice, the chosen charity of outgoing captain Andy Jinks.
