KEMPSEY Colts United boosted their fight to get away from the lower end of McDonald's Worcester and District Football League Sunday Division Two.

They beat eighth-placed Perdiswell FC Colts 3-1 to go three points ahead of second-from-bottom Lower Teme and Martley Athletic in the 12-team table.

Kieran Hawkes, Joe Morrall and David Perkins scored for Kempsey with Ollie Leach pulling a goal back for Perdiswell who had David Hale sent off.

Adam Ellis and Connor Shepheard scored hat-tricks as Droitwich Spa Eagles thumped basement boys Worcester Saints 9-1.

Will Clutterbuck, Stuart Hatfield and Ethan King were also on target with Daniel Hill replying.

Mark Edwards put GDL Athletic ahead at Hornets but Mark Walker levelled late on to make it 1-1.

Callow End and Perrywood closed to within six points of Premier Division leaders Oak Apple who were without a game.

Perrywood won 4-2 at Northside and Callow End beat Fernhill Heath Athletic 3-1.

In-form Clifton Rovers won 3-0 at off-colour St Johns.

Division One leaders Pillar were held 1-1 at bottom side Colwall St James with Joshua Weatherby scoring for the visitors.

FC Malvern kept up their march towards the top with a 4-3 win at lowly Lower Teme and Martley despite a Matthew Gardner double for the hosts.

Eaton triumphed 2-0 at PT Eagles thanks to Jack Courtney and Paulo Anacleto.

A Matthew Bannister hat-trick and Mark Holbrow goal were not enough for Express Falcons to beat FC Korono in a 4-4 draw.

Drakes Broughton Rangers and Malvern Vale played out a 1-1 draw with Sam Marshall and Harry Wickett on target respectively.

Unbeaten Division Three leaders New Dales thrashed Lower Teme and Martley Reserves 5-1 through Rik Halion (2), Nathan Bullock, Declan Andrews and Daniel Parsons.

Powick kept up the pressure at the top with a Leon Roberts double and Joe Spencer effort helping seal a 3-0 win at Malvern Radar.

Grosvenor Sports lost 6-4 at Worcester Saints Reserves despite Jordan Roan netting all four goals.

Harry Lewis (3), Kristian Bottrell, Ben Cartmell and Michael Kirby scored for Saints.

AFC Brickfields went down 4-3 at home to Droitwich Spa Eagles Reserves.

David Lambert (2) and Aaron Marston scored for the hosts with Gavin Wood (2), Andy Harvey and Simon Jones on target for Eagles.

Eaton Reserves remain pointless at the bottom after a 2-0 home loss to fellow strugglers Perrywood Reserves.

The league now has a festive break until January 6.
