AN Ashton-under-Hill teenager passed her black belt grading in taekwondo in London Chinatown.
Olivia Edwards, who turns 18 in December, has been training in the martial art for six years in her village and in Badsey.
She is the fifth black belt from the Ashton class and joins club-mate Anya-Maria Piechowiak as one of a select group of students to have gained their grade in Chinatown.
Instructor Neil Hall said: "I am very proud of her. It is a tremendous experience for youngsters from this area to be able to train with martial artists from Chinatown and to achieve a black belt in Chinatown is a real achievement."
