EVESHAM Rugby Club remain eighth in Midlands Two West (South) following a 41-8 home loss to undefeated league leaders Kidderminster Carolians.
The home side started well with an early try for Liam Berry and remained in contention at 15-5 down at half-time.
A second-half penalty for Andy Robinson narrowed the deficit briefly before Kidderminster broke Evesham's resistance with three late tries to record a runaway victory.
Evesham take a break from league action with a visit from Ledbury in the North Midlands Cup on Saturday (2.15pm).
