WATCH out for big-hitting Bretforton cricketer Paul Jones this weekend as he looks to build on an amazing innings.
Marston’s Pedigree Cotswold Hills League Division One runaway leaders Bret were denied by the weather last weekend against Kineton.
It left Jones frustrated after he smashed a stunning 277 runs with 23 sixes in a giant total of 435-6 the previous week as they hammered Ashton-under-Hill by 252 runs.
Bret visit Warwick CC Staff on Saturday.
Evesham lost to fellow high-fliers Bewdley by seven wickets in Worcestershire League Division One after being bowled out for 145.
Bredon went down by 22 runs to Bromyard in Division Two as they fell short of the 173-7 set in a rain-hit match.
Pershore’s Birmingham League Division Two visit to Attock was abandoned with the hosts on 167-3.
On Saturday, Evesham host Colwall, Bredon go to Droitwich Spa and Pershore welcome Wombourne.
