WYCK Hill horse trainer David Bridgwater secured a winning double in Devon over the jumps at Newton Abbot.

Celtic Intrigue landed a second successive victory by claiming the Weatherbys Hamilton Handicap Chase by two-and-a-quarter lengths.

Jockey Tom Scudamore guided the eight-year-old 9-4 favourite to success over Where’d Ya Hide It (14-1) among six runners.

Celtic Intrigue won earlier this month at Ffos Las in the Thomas Martin Trust Novices’ Handicap Chase.

Bridgwater also struck in the next race at Newton Abbot through surprise winner Monte Wildhorn (9-2) and jockey Jake Hodson by a seven-length margin over Billy My Boy.

The seven-year-old took the Weatherbys Bloodstock Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle to clinch a first career win over the jumps.

Meanwhile, Tarvini (15-2) was second by just a neck for Temple Guiting trainer Jonjo O’Neill in the Full Golf Club Membership For 560 Handicap Hurdle at Southwell with New Horizons (11-2) winning.
