Winchcombe move up division with success
WINCHCOMBE Town secured a fine 3-0 win over high-flying Bredon in Gloucestershire Northern Senior Football League Division Two.
John Finnigan, Daniel Moore and Jamie Roles scored the goals as Town moved up to third from bottom, ahead of Saturday’s visit to basement boys Viney St Swithins.
Moreton Rangers’ Division One game at Harrow Hill was postponed and they hope to return to action at home to Ramblers on Saturday.
Winchcombe’s reserves crashed 8-2 at leaders Northway, in Cheltenham Association League Division Four.
