PEOPLE have taken to social media to share their frustration after a large number of tyres were dumped on a road in Alvechurch.

The tyres have blocked Icknield Street, near the Coach and Horses Pub and Alcott Farm and Fisheries, and were reportedly dumped between 6.30 and 9.00pm yesterday (Thursday, August 6).

Police have been informed about the incident.

Reacting to the blockage, one social media user called the act "disgusting" and said flytippers have "no respect for the countryside, or people".

Another said it was "awful," with another saying it's "blown out of proportion."
