POLICE are investigating after the driver of a stolen car crashed the car before they fled the scene.
A black Volkswagen Golf overturned on Bridge Street in Leominster shortly before 4.40am on Saturday after the vehicle was crashed into a mains electricity box.
Emergency services attended the scene and Western Power were informed.
A police spokesman said: "It’s believed the car had been stolen earlier that night. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and an investigation is ongoing.
"Anyone with any information about the collision that hasn’t yet spoken to police is asked to contact us via 101 quoting incident number 149i of July 25."
