A 46-year-old man from Worcester has appeared in court charged with rape.
Andrew Lewis of Brecon Avenue appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He is charged with the rape of a woman aged over 16 on March 10, 2018.
The clerk of the court said the defendant had indicated a guilty plea.
The case was adjourned for a further hearing at Worcester Crown Court on August 12 this year where a formal plea will be entered. Lewis was granted unconditional bail.
