TRAVELLERS who set up camp at a St Peters park and were served an eviction notice have moved on.

Five of the travellers' five vehicles that were in Power Park moved off yesterday afternoon, while the other two left this morning.

The notice of direction to leave was served on the travellers at the end of last week and had required them to depart immediately.

A spokesman for Worcester City Council said as the travellers had now left the area, they were taking steps to secure the site and begin a clean-up.
