THERE has been a spot of guerrilla gardening to brighten up Ludlow town centre.
Residents have been busy working on the castle's gardens.
The locals raised the money for the plants at the Castle Gardens themselves and the Civic Society made a donation
To begin with, the gardeners beavered away demolishing rogue self-seeded elders and sycamores as well as trying to eradicate the bindweed and ivy, which was strangling the bushes intended to give pleasure.
They then removed an overdose of forsythias, which had well and truly gone to pot.
At this point the town council was informed of their gardening.
