WORKERS are on a Worcester site digging a carriageway where the road has collapsed.
Two-way temporary traffic lights are in operation in Deansway, Worcester.
Highways workers are at the site and are waiting for Severn Trent Water to arrive to inspect the sewer.
Worcs Highways & Travel Tweeted: "At Deansway #Worcester we have a gang on site excavating the carriageway where the road has collapsed - we are awaiting @stwater to arrive to inspect the sewer.
"2-way temp traffic lights in operation."

The Worcester News ran a story yesterday after police were directing traffic after a section of the carriageway had sunken "dangerously."
Worcs Highways & Travel Tweeted at the time: "A section of carriageway has sunken dangerously on Deansway Worcester near to WorcCathedral (heading away from river).
"WMerciaPolice are currently directing traffic - we are having to install a set of temp traffic lights to keep the area safe."
