A WOMAN had a lucky escape after her car overturned on the M42 near Bromsgrove in a scary incident early on Thursday morning (June 18).
The car flipped over at around 6am on the southbound carriageway between Junction 2 at Alvechurch and Junction 1 at Bromsgrove.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said the woman managed to escape the vehicle after it overturned
She was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment but her injuries were not believed to be serious.

A WMAS spokesperson said: "We were called at 6am to reports of a car that had overturned on the M42 between Junction 2 and Junction 1.
"The vehicle had come to rest on a grass verge on the side of the motorway."
Emergency services at the scene were unable to say how or why the vehicle had overturned.
The accident caused some delays on the motorway while the lane was closed to enable emergency services to deal with the incident but it reopened at 8.30am.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson added: "We were called shortly before 6am to a single vehicle collision. The driver was treated by paramedics for minor injuries."
