Local people who are feeling worried, stressed, or anxious can access a range mental health and wellbeing support.

In Herefordshire, the Let’s Talk team provides a range of support for anyone over 18, from self-help guides, online courses, group therapy through to one-to-one counselling.

You can self-refer to the service without having to see a GP or another health professional first by calling 0800 073 22 00, and for more community-based wellbeing support such as groups or activities Herefordshire residents can visit WISH Herefordshire’s website.

Let’s Talk offer confidential and easy access to a range of options to help and support you, over telephone, secure video consultations or other digital platforms.

The Now We’re Talking campaign is run by Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust to highlight the range of mental health and wellbeing support services available across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Emma Webber, associate director – mental health and learning disabilities for Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust: “It is estimated that there are about one in four people who will experience more common mental health conditions at some point. There are many situations in a person’s life which can lead to stress, anxiety, low mood or depression, like a global pandemic.

“We provide a range of mental health services with the support of partners and the wider community with a view to making Herefordshire and Worcestershire the most supportive mental health counties in the country.”
