NED'S Atomic Dustbin have unveiled two special hometown shows in Stourbridge to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut EP.

The December shows will see the original line-up perform for the first time in the town since 1988 to celebrate 30 years since the release of 'The Ingredients'.

The five-piece recorded their debut EP just a few hundred yards away from the Crown Lane venue and it helped propel them to worldwide fame thanks to the success of hit ‘Grey Cell Green’.

The Stourbridge rockers will also play two shows at Dingwalls in London the week before their return to the Black Country.

Ned's frontman John Penney said: "Looks like we're finally coming home! 30 years since we released The Ingredients EP we're finally going to get to play the songs in Stourbridge. It's a homecoming that has been a long time coming- and Rat will probably remind us all again that he's from Sedgley not Stourbridge- but I think 30 years is long enough to leave it. We can't wait to play the town hall - it'll feel like a new venue to us because it's been such a long time!"

The band are promising a different set each night in London and in Stourbridge to include all tracks from ‘The Ingredients EP’ along with tracks from throughout their back catalogue.

Ned's will play Stourbridge Town Hall on Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5, with the London shows set to take place on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday, April 9 at seetickets.com, with pre-sale taking place on Tuesday, April 7.
