PEOPLE in Ludlow of all ages are being reminded that they are not alone and help is at hand at this terrible time.

Pulling Together Ludlow is a community network, set up specifically to support the Ludlow community through the Covid-19 emergency.

It is made up of a coalition of organisations including Hands Together Ludlow, the local GP practices, and community volunteer networks. Together, it provides the coordination that brings together a comprehensive network of support for families and individuals.

This is the time to help others and in the community. Please phone the hotline number of 01584 817250 or email ludlowcovid19volunteers@gmail.com to find out about the variety of ways in which to support the community through Pulling Together Ludlow, either with time, such as delivering prescriptions or making ‘phone calls or a financial contribution.

If you or anyone you know cannot be helped by friends, family or neighbours and need assistance please call the dedicated helpline 01584 817250, open every day 9am to 5pm.

The group is offering a wide range of support including:

• Home food delivery due to illness or through self-isolation

• Delivering lunchtime meals to children receiving free school meals

• Delivering prescriptions in line with local pharmacy guidelines

• Essential pet services such as emergency dog walking

• Telephone befriending and checking on those alone.
