A 36-year-old man has been charged with breaching a restraining order after armed police were called to an incident which began in Worcester.
The suspect was due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today charged with breaching a restraining order.
James Piotrowski, of Trescott Road, Rubery, was charged after police officers arrested him in Church Stretton, Shrewsbury on Tuesday. The suspect was apprehended after a team effort by different teams within West Mercia Police.
Involved in the operation were Operations Patrol Units from Worcestershire, Shropshire and Hereford, the police dog section and the National Police Air Service.
A spokesman for the Worcestershire Operations Patrol Unit said: "Top Force Ops team effort today, arresting a male subject to an armed operation which started in Worcester and ended in Shropshire."
