OFFICIAL figures show another two cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Worcestershire bringing the total to 10.

Public Health England figures show that 10 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am yesterday morning (March 20) in Worcestershire, up from eight the same time the day before.

In total Public Health England say there are 3,983 cases recorded nationally, 177 deaths and 79 patients have recovered.

The local authority with the highest amount is Southwark with 110 cases. In the Midlands, Birmingham is 13th on the list of authorities with 53 cases, Warwickshire has 13, Gloucestershire has 22, and Herefordshire has three.

Public Health England are not disclosing specific details about individual cases.

The announcement comes after the government's latest move to stop the spread of cornavirus, shutting cafe, nightclubs and pubs overnight.
