AN Indian restaurant has launched a contact-free deliveries scheme as a precaution to the coronavirus.
Balti Mahal in Astwood Road is taking special measures to protect the community during the pandemic.
A worker from the restaurant, Mazedul Shakil said: “Your safety is our priority. As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop we’re introducing contact-free delivery to help keep everyone using our platform - customers and the restaurant - safe during this time.
“If COVID - 19 spreads across Worcester, it would have huge impact on our small business, potentially we would be forced to close down.
“Hence, special measures has been to be taken to protect our business, our associates and our local community.”
When placing orders at Balti Mahal customers will be able to request a Contact-Free Delivery which limits contact when delivering orders.
