In line with Government advice, because of the coronavirus crisis, the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford has temporarily closed all its theatres.
Now the RSC has issues advice to ticket-holders about what happens next.
A spokesman said: We will contact people who have booked tickets over the coming days to discuss refund options.
"You can choose a refund in the form of a credit voucher which can be used as part or full payment against future bookings made through the RSC Box Office.
"We are also asking our audiences to consider donating the cost of your ticket if you are able. We understand this may not be possible for everyone, but would be very grateful if you would consider this. Your support for and loyalty to the Royal Shakespeare Company is more important now than ever before. Half of our income every year comes from our audiences."
