A 21-YEAR-OLD man from Stourport failed to stop at the scene of a crash when he had no driving licence or insurance.
Callum Fox, of Shorthill Caravan Park, left the scene of the collision at Areley Common on August 21 last year but was later tracked down and arrested by police.
The incident involved a Peugeot 307, driven by the defendant, and a black Mazda, both of which suffered damage in the crash.
Worcester Justice Centre heard on Tuesday, January 21 how Fox drove into the path of the oncoming vehicle at the junction with Red House Road.
Fox eventually pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance and admitted failing to stop at the scene of a crash.
He also pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention after previously denying all charges.
Magistrates sentenced Fox to 14 weeks in prison and banned him from driving for 30 months.
He must also pay a £122 victim surcharge.
