MALVERN mayor Neil Morton will be hosting a charity Christmas Concert at Great Malvern Priory and invites everyone to come along and enjoy some festive cheer.

The concert will take place on Saturday, December 14, from 1.30pm until 3.30pm and will include performances by the Hills Singers and Malvern Hills District Brass Band.

A spokesman said: "This concert is a lovely way to start the Christmas period and to get a break away from all the hustle and bustle of shopping and preparations for a couple of hours.

" The programme will include traditional carols, popular Christmas songs and music from the movies.

"There will also be a chance for some audience participation where you can sing along to some popular Christmas tunes.

Tickets are £5 per person, under 14s are free of charge and all proceeds will be shared equally between the mayor’s charities for this year – Heartstart Malvern and Malvern Hills Foodbank – and Malvern Hills District Brass Band.

There is ramped disabled access into the Priory and disabled parking by prior arrangement.

You can buy tickets via the Malvern Town Council website malverntowncouncil.org/whats-on/christmas-charity-concert/ or on the door.
