THE streets of Bewdley were filled with festive cheer on Saturday (November 30) as people came together for the annual lights switch-on.

Thousands got in the Christmas spirit and enjoyed browsing through a host of seasonal stalls and homegrown entertainment.

Punters were treated to a programme of performances provided by pupils of The Bewdley School and the choirs of Bewdley Choral Society and group Sing Tonic.

Zennor's Dance & Musical Theatre Academy and school band Don't Feed the Ducks also delighted audiences at the festive fayre

Bewdley mayor John Byng alongside the carnival princesses were on hand to turn on the town's Christmas lights.

The Victorian market featured over 100 stores selling gifts, jewellery, homemade cakes, puddings, pies, cheeses, wine, cider, toys and many more festive favourites.
