MORE details have been released by police about a night of burglaries.
Earlier this week a Meadowbank Drive resident told the Worcester News he disturbed burglars before they could steal anything at around 10pm on the night of Thursday, October 24. It emerged the burglary was one of three that night police are investigating and are linking, and more information has now been released about the other two.
Between 5.30pm and 7pm, in Catherine Road, St John's, an intruder broke into a property and carried out a search. The burglars are understood to have been disturbed, but they took £3,000 in cash and a watch.
Meanwhile, also between 5.30pm and just after 7pm, a property in Melrose Close was attempted to be broken into by means of smashing a conservatory door. Entry was not gained and nothing was taken.
