Someone will be “Murdered to Death in Colwall”, thanks to the Colwall Players.

Imagine a country manor house in the glorious 1930’s. The guests are assembled. It’s a dark and stormy night. There’s even a murder. The police are called, and enter Inspector Pratt.

A spokesman said: “Curtain up on an hilarious spoof of the best of the Agatha Christie traditions. Murdered to Death twists and turns with side-splitting antics and ever-increasing merriment and a cast of characters guaranteed to delight: Bunting the butler; an English Colonel with the prerequisite stiff upper lip; a shady French art dealer and his moll; bumbling local inspectors and a well-meaning amateur sleuth, Miss Maple, who seems to attract murder wherever she goes. They’re all here, and all caught up in the mayhem and confusion that follows the mysterious death of the owner of a country manor house. But will the murderer be unmasked?”

Murdered to Death will run from October 31 to November 2 from 7.30, at The Village Hall, Mill Lane, Colwall
