A CHOIR baked cakes, bought cakes and sang in their aprons to inject a little fun into a national fundraising event.
Got 2 Sing Worcester choir raised £155 for The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning - Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.
It is a fund raising favourite for the choir members every year.
The choir form part of the family of 13 contemporary Got 2 Sing Choirs across the Midlands who collectively raised £2016 for Macmillan through the ‘Coffee Morning’ initiative.
Worcester Choir leader Cathy Hart commented, “The Coffee Morning is such a fantastic initiative by Macmillan and a fun way to raise funds - it’s something we look forward to every year! I’m not so sure our waistlines thank us for it but it turns what is a fun rehearsal anyway into a real fantastic social event with lots of money raised.."
