Almost 25 years ago Evesham Ramblers instigated the placement of a topograph on Bredon Hill.
It’s hardly noticeable and easily mistaken for a pile of stones.
A recent photograph on social media of walkers in front of this feature showed that the topograph dial was in desperate need of a clean.
So, on Tuesday, September 17, a group of Evesham Ramblers took on the task.
They walked up the hill from Overbury, delighted at the surrounding views from Parsons Folly over a mid morning coffee and then did the planned clean.
Weeds and grass were removed from the edges and the dial face was washed and given a good shine.
Some cheery ramblers suggested an annual clean up in future.
