A COUNTY marketing agency has been announced as the official supplier for a regional tech accelerator programme.

Crowdfunding marketing agency BrandRefinery has been made official marketing services supplier to BetaDen, a revolutionary accelerator programme for businesses to develop next-generation technology products, services or solutions, defined using emerging technologies as cybertech and artificial intelligence.

Richard Slade, director of BrandRefinery states: “We are excited to be supporting Cohort 2.0 and working with Worcestershire’s first ever tech accelerator programme.

BetaDen established itself in 2018 as Worcestershire’s first tech accelerator available for tech entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale up businesses and recently announced the second cohort of 8 companies that will take up residency at Malvern Hills Science Park from August 2019 for an intensive 9-month programme.

Cohort 2.0 will be supported by proof of concept funding, specialist coaching and mentoring whilst developing their products and solutions towards the commercial route to market.

Eight companies, selected from a wide spectrum of emerging technologies began their journey at the Malvern Hills Science Park on August 29 and will spend the next 9 months supported by specialist coaching and mentoring whilst developing their products and solutions towards their commercial route to market.

The successful eight companies joining BetaDen for cohort 2.0 this autumn are: Impact Aerial, a drone technology company, Utelize, an IT based platform for private telecoms, Voice Biometrics, Identity authentication as a service and Data Legacy, an online data platform developed to protect your Data Legacy after life.

The other companies are: Green Gorilla Apps, Wearable Link, CYDON and Hero Skin, wearable technology for extreme sports.
