MORE than 100 people attended a car meet in Leominster on Sunday as drivers showcased their modified motors.
Hereford Drivers Club, who organised the event, said the turnout exceeded expectations when drivers met in Broad Street car part at 7pm.
Among the cars was a Peugeot 205, an Abarth 500, which is the performance model of the Fiat 500, and a Honda Civic Type R.
The group aim to be a community where people's passion for cars is recognised and are able to express it.
Josh Francis-Newman, Hereford Drivers Club's founder, said: "It (the meet) definitely did exceed expectation but we always strive for bigger and better. Over 100 people attended including families viewing.
"A lot of positivity in the air, especially from the police as they had a look at the cars and a nice chat with us they even enjoyed the Hereford Drift Trikes we had on show."
Ahead of the meet, organisers said the event was going to be a large scale static event, so told people attending there was to be no unsafe driving, revving engines or loud music.
