PHOTOGRAPHER Karen Simpkins has been chasing the sun!
In a frantic day of taking pictures she was up and about in time to capture the sun rising near Callow, south of Hereford at 5am.
Hours later she was at the junction of the A438 and A4111 at Letton, near Eardisley, to enjoy a glorious sunset.
Karen, a member of the Hereford Times Camera Club, said: "I left my house at about 4.50am and drove to Callow Lane to see if I could see the swans.
"A railway line runs under the lane, and a photo I have always wanted is the sun at the end of the railway shining on the rails."
Later that day Karen noticed the beautiful sunset at Letton, so decided to photograph that too.
She quipped: "I thought I would go chase the sunset, instead of storm chasing!"
