THE Worcester Carnival has been a great success since it returned to the city.
On Saturday, once again families will come together to enjoy a spectacular and colourful parade as the city will be packed with revellers enjoying a fun day out.
There will also be much to enjoy on Pitchcroft as the Carnival Village promises something for everyone with everything from a junior football tournament, a sports demonstration area, fairground rides, an inflatable village, market stalls with local charities, crafts, food and drink, and a full day of live entertainment on the main stage.
The carnival will also benefit deserving county charities, so there is plenty to celebrate.
Hats’ off to the organisers for all their hard work and for all the dedicated volunteers who put so much time and effort into ensuring the day passes smoothly.
We hope the sun shines for them on Saturday and that people turn out in force for this city celebration.
