THE man who stands accused of murdering Halesowen hairdresser Stuart Roe will face trial in November after proceedings were adjourned today.
Martyn Turley, aged 57, of Whitehouse Street, Tipton is accused of stabbing Mr Roe to death in Rowley Regis on Sunday December 30.
Mr Roe, who owned Mr Trim barbers in Quarry Bank High Street, was stabbed to death shortly after he left the Britannia pub in Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis.
The 34-year-old was found in the street by a member of the public shortly after but despite the best efforts of paramedics was pronounced dead at the scene.
Turley pleaded not guilty to murder at Birmingham Crown Court on February 14 and the trial was scheduled to take place today (June 24).
The trial, which is expected to last ten days, has been rescheduled to begin on November 4 and Turley was remanded in custody.
