FLOODING and disruption to traffic across the West Midlands and West Mercia is likely following a warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms.
The Met Office have set a Yellow Warning across the region for today (Monday, June 24), with other parts of the country still likely to be affected tomorrow.
The severe weather can cause spray and sudden flooding, which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Train and bus delays are also possible depending on where flooding and lightning strikes occur.
The Met Office also say that there is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
More information regarding the weather warning is available via the Met Office website.
