HEROES of education were celebrated last night at our annual awards ceremony – and, although the ceremony has taken place, that doesn't mean we're going to stop recognising excellence.
The Worcestershire Education Awards is now finished for the year, after Thursday night's ceremony at the University Arena in Hylton Road. It was the culmination of six months' work and followed hundreds of nominations for top teachers, heads, support workers, schools, nurseries and higher education centres.
And now we want to encourage our readers to keep up the praise for those people who make a positive impact to students across the county, by contacting us here at the Worcester News.
Tell us about them and we will produce an article to recognise their efforts in the newspaper and online.
Just email our editor at michael.purton@newsquest.co.uk with the name of the person you're praising, where they work and an explanation of why they're so great.
And lookout for the special supplement on the awards winners in this Thursday's (June 27) Worcester News.
