A TEENAGER has been arrested after a student was attacked with a knife outside Halesowen College today.
Police and paramedics were called to the college in Whittingham Road at just after 12.20pm this afternoon after a 16-year-old girl received cuts to her face.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody while the investigation continues.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding after a girl was attacked with a knife this afternoon.
"Officers were called just after 12.20pm to Halesowen College in Whittingham Road.
"A 16-year-old victim was left with minor injuries to her face.
"The suspect remains in custody this afternoon and the investigation is continuing."
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
