A Worcester-based recruitment agency has been selected as one of five countywide businesses to be a finalist in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce awards category for Most Promising New Business 2019.

Working with local businesses, Redwood Search provides recruitment services for their clients to help them find the best possible candidates on a temporary and permanent basis to help their business grow and develop.

Having commenced business in 2016, Redwood Search has gone from strength to strength with steady year on year growth and directors Michelle McGovern and Arlene Gray said they were thrilled to have been selected as a finalist amongst fierce competition, saying: “We are extremely proud of what the team has accomplished in such a short period of time.

“We strive not only to provide the best possible service to our clients but also consistently look to support local businesses in the area; having already invested in new start-ups for both our website and marketing.

“To be a finalist in this category is a testament to the hard work and commitment each member of our fantastic team has put in.

“We look forward to continued growth and many more successful years.”

Redwood Search provides a recruitment service to businesses across Worcestershire, the West Midlands and nationwide.

Whilst always welcoming new customers, there are already foundations with current clients across many specialist areas, including accountancy, legal & insurance, sales, marketing, customer service and telemarketing roles.

The Chamber of Commerce business awards recognise excellence in performance and innovation across countywide businesses over the last year.

There are 14 categories of award, ranging from Most Promising New Business to Best Use of Technology to Employer of the Year.

Finalists were announced in April with the winners to be announced at an awards ceremony on July 4 at Worcester Arena.
