THE Big Feastival, billed as the UK’s biggest family festival, has announced its final line-up of ahead the August Bank Holiday weekend extravaganza at Alex James’ farm .

New music acts just announced include the likes of Jack Savoretti, Dodgy and iconic hip-hop DJ pioneer Grandmaster Flash “who have been added to the star-studded line-up headed by Jess Glynne, Elbow, Rudimental, and firm favourites, The Zutons, among others”.

A spokesman said: “The Big Feastival is also home to culinary masters and offers a rare chance to see live demonstrations and find out tricks of the kitchen. It has today been announced that a host of new names including Mark Hix and Robin Gill will be joining Michelin star winning chefs Raymond Blanc OBE, Daniel Clifford and James Lowe as well as TV favourites Prue Leith CBE, Gennaro Contaldo, Candice Brown and Andi Oliver on stage.

“The Big Feastival continues to wow music and food lovers alike as even more talent is added to the already bumper line-up, ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend this August. “

The spokesman added: “The festival has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for great music from the UK’s biggest artists, incredible cooking from Michelin star chefs, award-winning street food from across the UK or entertainment for the whole family – it’s certainly a weekend not to be missed.”

The main stage will see acoustic singer Jack Savoretti, DJ Grandmaster Flash, rock sensation Sleeper, and singer-songwriter Bessie Turner.

The spokesman added: “Also making a very special appearance will be The Alex James Orchestra, along with Dodgy and BBC Music Introducing: Little Brother Eli.

“The August Bank Holiday weekend at Alex James’ Farm near Kingham, Oxfordshire, will kick off with a DJ set from platinum selling Rudimental on Friday night, followed by Jess Glynne, the Grammy Award winner, taking centre stage on Saturday.”
