A walk around the Brinsop Court estate raised £1,245 for mental health charity Herefordshire MIND.

More than 250 visitors took advantage of the chance to explore the woodland and gardens on Bank Holiday Monday.

They were also invited to bring a picnic and enjoy tea and homemade cakes on the lawn by the moat after their trek!

Some visitors were returning to Brinsop Court having either lived or worked at the 12th Century manor house in days gone by.

David Harding, Support & Development Manager at Herefordshire Mind said, “A huge thank you to everyone at Brinsop Court for organising such a wonderful event.

"This amazing amount will make real change to our Community Hub at Heffernan House in Widemarsh Street by helping us to continue our two music groups, Well Springs and Mindful Rhythms.

"It will also fund new signage designed by Zakk Kaye, a student at Hereford College of Art to ensure everyone can find and access our fantastic facilities.”
