TWO women from Kidderminster have admitted fraud involving £10,700 and will be sentenced by a judge at Crown Court.

Jacqueline Ashbury, aged 58, of James Road, and Samantha Asbury, aged 39, of Queen Elizabeth Road, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday April 16, where they pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation.

The pair used a Post Office card belonging to Stourport resident Alan Rainbow, defrauding him of £10,700.

Jacqueline Ashbury also pleaded guilty to stealing the Post Office card.

A similar charge of theft made against Samantha Ashbury was dismissed after the prosecution gave no evidence.

Both have been bailed to appear at Worcestershire Crown Court for sentencing on Friday May 17 and were ordered to not contact Mr Rainbow.
