YOUNGSTERS from a Redditch nursery recently welcomed a special guest as part of some Easter celebrations.
Noah’s Ark Nursery based in Matchborough invited Mayor of Redditch, Cllr Juliet Brunner to judge their annual Easter bonnet parade.
More than 60 children aged three and four paraded for the mayor in colourful and creative hats that they made with help from nursery staff.
Speaking afterwards, the mayor admitted it was tough job choosing the best but in the end she finally made up her mind.
She said: "It’s always terribly difficult as the standard is so high.”
Gill O’Gorman, manager of Noah’s Ark Nursery, added: "We would like to thank the mayor Cllr Juliet Brunner for coming to judge for us. All children enjoyed a chocolate egg when the parade finished."
